Quad with no brakes! 02/07/2010

Sundays is always chores day here at the farm. Alonzo who works for us, taking care of the horses with us, has Sundays off. Chris and i put all the fodder out for the horses, today was my turn to drive the quad bike to the top of the hill with the trailer load of grass! I guess i dont have much weight to hold the back end down and i ended up sliding with the grass behind me all the way back to the bottom and then jack knifing at the bottom! Needless to say my hero of a husband spent the whole time at the top of the hill laughing at me making my descent to the bottom!

Thankfully the day got better and we had a lovely lunch with my Aunt Penny and Uncle Bob who are visiting from Canada. It is always fun with them!!
