Exploring the mountains 02/13/2010

As i write this my friends are all off on a trailblazing ride to explore the mountains around the farm. Unfortunately i am sick and can't go!

Chris has been doing some major clearing in the lagoons that edge the property, they are great for growing grass as they have a permanent supply of water, they have had to be really careful though as Alonzo killed a big snake! Yikes.

We have been busy trying to keep the peace this week between Julias horse Cascabel and our horse Viagual. We have introduced Cascabel as Julia wants to use him as lead horse on the tours. Poor Viagual has been top dog for ever and now he has been usurped by the new comer! Poor thing, he is most upset.

Chris is doing more and more barefoot trimming which is great and he is really getting a small business going which helps pay the bills!

Off now to the feed store to spend it all!!! Have a good weekend all and Happy Birthday for Monday Mum. Love you xxxxxxxxxx
