Phew, life is hectic right now. It is such a great adventure, but the list of things to do before we open the new place in 3 weeks is frankly quite laughable!

The barns are going up and the first should be finished today, Alonzos house also should be finished today, well the outside shell anyway!

I am still waiting on the blood test results for Peggy, the new horse! Hopefully they should be ready today, then there is the problem of getting her over to us, she is only on the other side of the mountain, 2 hours riding time, but we dont have the time to do it....any offers????? it is very scenic!

I did some work on our other new addition Caspear yesterday, he went really well. He is very short on confidence, but you only have to show him something once and he's got it, very smart boy. I really like riding him. He is going to make a great ride for the tourists.

Archie also got school time yesterday; after disgracing himself as my lead horse on a tour a couple of days ago, he had to go back to basics. He is never going to make a tour pony (yipee, i wanted him for me anyway!!) He has suffered way too much abuse in his former home, poor guy. Still he is with us now and progressing great, but only when i allow his spirit level to be where is wants to be, and thats high! I just have to keep his brain busy and all four feet on the ground!! I love him to bits.
