Bring on the cats! 10/27/2009

Ok, last week was dog rescue, this week it is the turn of KITTENS!!!! Yeah, i love cats.

Alonzo who works for us was up in the mountains and he found two kittens who's mother had been killed by a dog, the other two in the litter were dead from starvation, so rightly so he tucked them in his shirt, and brought them back to the farm.

They were checked out yesterday by Jessie the vet and found to be very very skinny, full of fleas, worms and ATTITUDE!! They are so cute, and are now happily filling their bellies and having lots of cuddles. Not sure what to do with them as the rescue group we work with have 29 kittens up for adoption. Guess they will be some good ratters when they are older, so they can hang around the farm and enjoy the easy life!

IAll go on the new farm today, the frame is up for Alonzo's new house, the barns go up next week, fingers crossed. Time is marching on and we have so much to do but it is very exciting.

I will take some photos of Pearler and Stewart (the kitten, and no i didnt name them!!) and put them up tommorrow.
