Sri Lankan Cowboys 09/28/2009
We had a great group of riders today, three were from Sri Lanka, which is a first! Chris spent a large part of his misspent youth surfing there, so it was a shame he couldnt meet them. He is busy planting the grass for the horses at the new farm (La Quina is the name of the new farm). I worked on of our latest horses Archie today. He is responding so well to Parelli. He was so nervous and resistent when we bought him, and now he is so much more relax. A real sweet heart. The photo below is of my friend Laurie giving him one of his first ever hugs, he really likes them now. I am getting more and more excited about the move now, and just dont think i can wait any longer. Yesterday i walked all the new trails and they are amazing. We are planning on introducing Costa Rica to the fun of "Jump Cross" which is huge in the UK. You have all the fun of cross country riding, but you go over jumps that will fall if you hit them. Will let you know when we hold the first event! Should be fun. Well now we pray for sun and rain in equal messages so the grass will grow strong and long!
